Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy

I. OVERVIEW & SCOPE IXA Global, headquartered in Agartala, Tripura, India, operating the NGo Cabs platform, has established this Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy ("EEO"). This EEO policy applies to all aspects of the relationship between IXA Global and its employees, including, but not limited to, recruitment, advertisements for employment, hiring and firing, compensation, assignment, classification of employees, termination, promotions, transfer, training, working conditions, wages, and employee benefits.

These policies apply to independent contractors (including driver partners), temporary employees, all personnel working on the premises, and any other persons or firms doing business for or with IXA Global and NGo Cabs. Any user found to have violated this prohibition will lose access to the NGo Cabs platform. Applicable Indian laws may require and/or allow the provision of services by and for the benefit of a specific category of persons. In such jurisdictions, services provided in compliance with these laws are permissible under this policy.

II. POLICIES

1. DISCRIMINATION IXA Global shall not tolerate, under any circumstances, without exception, any form of discrimination based on caste, religion, creed, race, color, age, disability, pregnancy, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, national or regional origin, language, political affiliation, or any other status protected under the Constitution of India and applicable local laws. This list is not exhaustive. For qualified people with disabilities, IXA Global will make every effort to provide reasonable workplace accommodations that comply with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Discrimination in providing transportation services is strictly prohibited: Associated driver partners and employees are required to know the non-discrimination prohibitions. IXA Global will not tolerate any unlawful discriminatory practice to deny, directly or indirectly, any person the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation (including ride-hailing services) wholly or partially for a discriminatory reason.

Prohibited Discriminatory Conduct: IXA Global recognizes that associated drivers should never discriminate against customers by refusing rides, altering destinations, or treating them with less respect based on the protected characteristics listed above. Specific examples of discriminatory conduct include:

  • Refusing to pick up a passenger on the basis of caste, religion, gender, or any protected characteristic, including refusing passengers with legitimate service animals.

  • Requesting that a passenger exit a cab on the basis of a protected characteristic or trait.

  • Using derogatory or harassing language on the basis of a protected characteristic or trait.

  • Refusing a pickup in a specific geographic area based on regional bias.

Geographic Discrimination: IXA Global does not tolerate geographic discrimination and recognizes the importance of taking the customer to the requested destination without discriminating against them based on where they wish to go, particularly within our active service areas like Agartala.

2. HARASSMENT IXA Global is committed to providing a work and service environment that is free from harassment. Any behavior that is unwanted and offensive to the recipient, which creates an intimidating, hostile, or humiliating work environment for that person, violates this policy. Harassment, verbal or non-verbal, explicit or implicit, based on an individual's gender, caste, religion, ethnicity, age, or any other legally protected characteristic will not be tolerated. All employees, management personnel, and independent driver partners are required to abide by this policy. No person will be adversely affected in their employment or partnership with IXA Global as a result of bringing complaints of harassment.

3. SEXUAL HARASSMENT In strict compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act), and extending protections to all genders, IXA Global prohibits inappropriate conduct that is sexual in nature at work, on Company business, inside NGo Cabs, or at Company-sponsored events.

Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute harassment when:

  1. Submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of employment or platform access;

  2. Submission to or rejection of such conduct is used as a basis for employment decisions, promotion, or terms and conditions of employment; or

  3. Such conduct has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.

This includes comments, jokes, degrading language, or sexually suggestive media. Sexual harassment is prohibited whether it is between members of the opposite sex or members of the same sex.

4. STATEMENT ON DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION An inclusion program has been developed where IXA Global seeks to actively increase the representation, participation, and economic empowerment of marginalized communities, women, and minorities within the tech and transport sectors in India.

5. REPORTING DISCRIMINATION & HARASSMENT If an employee, driver partner, or rider feels that they have been harassed or discriminated against as described in this policy, they should immediately file a grievance with the Grievance Redressal Officer at:

  • Address: Grievance Department, IXA Global, Agartala, Tripura, India.

  • Email: compliance@ngocab.com

For complaints regarding sexual harassment, matters will be immediately routed to the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as mandated by Indian law. Once reported, the matter will be promptly and confidentially investigated, and corrective action will be taken. Timely reporting is encouraged to prevent re-occurrence. This procedure does not prevent any individual from seeking a remedy under available state or federal laws by directly reporting the matter to local law enforcement or appropriate authorities.

6. RETALIATION Retaliation against any person associated with IXA Global or NGo Cabs who reports instances of harassment—whether directly or indirectly involved—is a strict violation of company policy. All reported incidents are assumed to be made in good faith. Any allegations proven to be intentionally false or malicious will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter.

7. DISCIPLINARY MEASURES FOR HARASSMENT Any employee or driver partner engaging in behavior that violates this policy will be subject to immediate disciplinary action, including the possible termination of employment or permanent deactivation from the NGo Cab platform, whether or not an actual law has been violated.

8. REMEDIES Remedies for any instances of verified employment discrimination may include back pay, hiring, promotion, reinstatement, reasonable accommodation, or other actions deemed appropriate by IXA Global.

9. POLICY IMPLEMENTATION IXA Global's Founder, Kanishk Dutta Bhaumik, fully supports the implementation of this Policy effective as of March 2026.
